Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC)

Joined the CCC on my college campus. I first heard about it from a senior, who told me that there's such a Christian group. He himself, however, didn't join it.

So, after entering the college, on one afternoon when I was going home, I poped into the room, and met the people there and have "formally" joined the 동아리 (club?).

Met lots of people there, some living nearby, some who came from far south of the country and currently staying together, some who travel 1 and a half hour to school everyday etc...and the common thing that we all have besides studying in the same college is that we are all bro and sis in Christ.

In CCC, there's Tuesday evening service, Friday evening's gathering and Devotion in the morning, which I only went once. Am quite use to go and lepak at the room (each club are given a room) whenever I'm free or in between lectures.

One thing that "horrifies" me is that every Tuesday noon, there'll be gathering in front of the campus and sing praise and worship songs. Something I'm not accustomed to in doing.......singing Christian songs publicly openly in front of so many non-believers.
So when I joined them for the first time last Tuesday, I was really nervous. I mean, it's something I like, I enjoy doing, but doing it on campus, where lots of people that I know walking around is a bit.....

But will try my best^^ I'm taking it up as a challenge^^

Dong Yang Technical College.

Started my engineering course in Dong Yang Technical College. Well, actually not an engineering course yet, it's Applied Chemistry Course.

Some of the things our seniors tell us about this college:
1. Most of the students here are those who's result aren't so good and can't enter college.
2. The students don't study a lot....they spend their time drinking at pubs and singing in karaoke
3. The lecturers are of high qualification but they need to teach according to the student's level,
which is quite low.
4. It's relaxing in this college.
5. The teacher will tell you what will come out in the exams.

So, after being in here for 1 week, I agree with most of the things the senior said, except that I HAVE quite a LOT of HOMEWORK. 2 reports to write each week, one report costing me around 5 hours, that's 10 hours gone a week just for 2 reports.

And the things that I need to memorize is a little more than what I expected.....

But anyway, haven't really mix with the students in my class. We 3 Malaysian always stick close to each other in class, not talking much....yet.
The most playful and noisy student in our Applied Chemistry Department is in my class, and because C class was the "worst" class last year, our assistant teacher has a bad impression about us.

Went for an interview to join a study group, which I now regret. Thought that it would be fun, doing experiments in labs, helping the lecturers, staying in campus from morning till night and getting some allowance as well.....

BUT after going to CCC (Campus Crusade for Christ) a few times, I feel that that's where I belong. And although unlikely....I fear that I'll pass the interview and become a member of the study group....which will leave me absolutely no time for CCC......seeking God's will......

Alright then, will stop here....for the mean time.....

Graduation

Had my graduation ceremony on the 16th of February. However, this photo was taken 3 days earlier. 1 and a half year........quite a meaningful period of time I'd say.....learnt lots of things....met lots of people....was taught by several teachers......all coming to an end now.....

As I was one of the editors for our Batch's magizine, was quite busy 2-3 weeks before our gradution. Collecting essays, article, designing the background of each article, adapting to the use of 2 software, Corel Draw and Microsoft Publisher.....but it was fun. The teacher bought us dinner (nearly) all the time when we stayed back^^

We had our Level 6 Korean Language exam on the 13th and 14th of Feb. The exam wasn't as hard compared to the mid-term exam, so was quite ok. Got around 96%......

The 5 editors for our batch's magazine and the 3 advisor^^
